We've been experimenting with offering complimentary dance lessons at the beginning of our events, courtesy of George and Suzie of the Black Tie Ballroom Club. At our March event the lesson focused on the Quickstep, and we had more people wanting to take part than we could accommodate in one lesson, so we ran two classes back to back. For our May event it will be a lesson in Foxtrot, which was pretty much the default social dance through the 1920s. The lesson will commence at 7.10pm and will run for about 40 minutes. If you'd like to take part, please let us know in advance.
