Doesn't time fly? Believe it or not, our last event (5th and 6th October) marked our 8th birthday! We were lucky enough to have the Swing'It Dixieband playing, a highly-polished Anglo-Norwegian combo who turned in cracking performances on both nights. Our host as ever was Champagne Charlie, and DJing was Jojo of the Bee's Knees. Thanks to everyone who came and helped to make such a magical atmosphere.

It’s funny to think there were people in the room who were probably underage when we first launched our speakeasy! Now, what are the chances that the Candlelight Club will last as long as Prohibition did? Only another five years to go…
