It seems we are immortalised in Matt Haig's Sunday Times Bestseller novel How to Stop Time (as read by Tom Hollander on Radio 4's Book at Bedtime last month). The central character is hundreds of years old and lived through the 1920s; then in contemporary London he is amused to see a sign advertising The Candlelight Club, a recreation of a Jazz Age speakeasy. In fact we are far too secret ever to have put up public adverts, but I can only assume this is a reference to our club. Matt, not sure if you've actually been to the Candlelight Club or merely heard about it, but happy to put you on the guest list if you fancy it! Thanks to customer Ruth Blanco for the tip-off.
