Our second event of 2023 will again be at a new venue for us, a historic mansion in south London (4 minutes from a tube station) with a ballroom.
Live music will come from Australia’s jazziest export, Duncan Hemstock and his famous All-Stars, one of the most high-energy powerhouses on the swing and jazz scene, guaranteed to keep your feet moving. When the band aren’t playing our DJs the Bee’s Knees will be spinning vintage vinyl. Presiding over proceedings will be our cabaret Host with the Most, Champagne Charlie.
I’m delighted to add that we shall also be graced with burlesque performances from the luminous Vicky Butterfly. Not only is she a titan of the burlesque scene, but she also happens to have been the very first performer of any kind to appear at the Candlelight Club, back when we started.
Elsewhere tarot reader Lucius will be on hand to glimpse into your future, Michelle Krausz will be running her vintage jewellery shop, and sketch artist Sophie Williams will be ready capture you in your vintage finery.

All guests require an entry ticket, covering entry and entertainment, but in addition you can choose to have the three-course dinner, which includes tables seating reserved for you all night. Alternatively you can reserve a table without the dinner, but including Champagne on arrival for a flat fee per table (£80 for a small table, seating up to five, including a bottle of Champagne, or £160 for a large table, seating up to 12, including two bottles of Champagne).
